Kehau Gabriel. Kumu Hula Kapinaoʻkehaulani Gabriel (Kehau) embodies the spirit of transformation through her lifelong dedication to hula. Beginning her journey at five years old under Kumu Hula Linda Piʻilani Danek, her commitment culminated in her ‘uniki (elevation) under Kumu Hula Keoni Martin and Kumu Hula Keoki Choy Foo of Halau Hula O Na Lei Mokihana in Honolulu. Her journey, like Peleʻs journey to Hawaiʻi, is a testament to the transformative power of art, reminding us all of the beauty that lies in honoring our roots while embracing growth. Aloha no!
