Kehau Gabriel

 

Kehau Gabriel, Kumu Hula Kapinaoʻkēhaulani Gabriel (Kēhau) started in hālau (Hawaiian school) at the age of five under the direction of Kumu Hula Linda Piʻilani Danek. She currently studies with Hālau Hula O Nā Lei Mokihana in Honolulu where she also completed her ‘ūniki (elevation to hula master) under her two teachers, Kumu Hula Keoni Martin and Kumu Hula Keoki Choy Foo. She is excited to share all the manaʻo (knowledge) she has on hula, Hawaiian history, and legends to perpetuate this amazing culture that has given her so much. Aloha ​nō!

Nā Akua : Hawaiian Gods & Goddesses.  This presentation is a brief look into the legends of the four major akua (gods) of the Hawaiian pantheon as well as its kini akua (smaller deities) and Hawaiian customs of worship.
