Megan Burns is a licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist. She is a professional member of the American Herbalist Guild and Academic Dean of Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts. Megan has a firm belief that our bodies possess an innate wisdom to heal, and she is honored to serve as a guide for her clients. Five Element exploration with essential oils and source points. We will explore the five elements and how they relate to ourselves to discover excesses and deficiency. Essential oils are a powerful aid on the source points. Source points stimulate vital energy within the meridian of the yin organs. Six Healing Sounds Qi gong. The Six Healing Sounds are a set of Qi gong exercises to help support a meridian based on five element associations. Each vocal sound and exercise vibrates through the body and activates a specific meridian based on an element and related organ system. This unique frequency promotes the movement of qi helping to harmonize our vital energy and open blocks to promote the movement of stagnation. Chinese Food Therapy and The Five Elements Chinese Food Therapy views food as medicine. A medicine we take in several times a day. We make qi and blood with the foods we eat daily. This workshop explores the seasonal Five Element associations and how to support our bodies by the foods we eat.
