Tigerlilly ( Lisa Marcus ) has A BFA in fibers from University of Delaware with A minor in Woman’s Studies. She has been A full time potter for 33 years in Ontario, Canada where she also teaches pottery classes. Her interest in spirituality has led her to make pots with Goddesses, Sea Priestesses, dragons, trees, and cats adorning the surfaces. She also creates vagina pottery. Dragon Bowls. Using red stoneware clay we will we will begin by looking at different types of dragons and choosing one to sculpt. Then we will create small bowls to attach our dragons to and some discussion of the use of dragon energy in our everyday lives. Also, basic handbuilding and sculpting techniques will be taught. We will use hot glue with dried and silk flowers, leaves, feathers, pinecones and sparkly bits to create our beautiful head pieces. If you like, you can make a headdress to go with the element of the day or to complete your bonfire costume.
